The original Alliance of Writers was formed in the pristine mountains of southern California. Each writing group chapter met in an independent bookstore. In 2004 the writing group meetings evolved into larger venue events and workshops open to everyone. Iin 2005 the group became active online. The Alliance of Writers no longer offers membership. Information on focused workshops and other events listed are now listed in the NEWS area. The smaller intimate groups called "Creative Circles" are invitation only and open to writing members with group history or professional referrals from within the publishing field. |
